Sessions are conducted in your home, in your child’s most natural and familiar environment. This can help generalize learned skills to everyday situations. It also allows for greater parent involvement, enabling them to observe and actively participate in the sessions. Additionally, home-based therapy can be tailored to address specific challenges or goals unique to the child’s home life.
However, it is worth noting that the choice between center-based and home-based depends on the child’s needs, family preferences, and the availability of resources.

School shadowing involves working closely with your child in their school environment, providing real-time support and guidance within the classroom setting to ensure a smooth and successful transition into school. Your child will have access to 1:1 assistance as they integrate learned skills into the school day and navigate social interactions and academic tasks. Shadowing can facilitate collaboration with teachers and school staff, ensuring a cohesive support system tailored to your child’s educational needs.
*Unfortunately, not all schools are open to shadowing services. Parents are responsible for making the arrangements with the school.

Consultation services can be employed by individuals or organizations. Consultation can take on a variety of formats and structures depending on your needs. They can involve a comprehensive assessment of a child’s behavior and development, followed by actionable strategies and interventions. Collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a cohesive plan that addresses a child’s needs may be another option. Organizations may request assistance with special needs programs or with individual students. Generally, consultations do not involve direct therapy with children. Consultations can be conducted in person or virtually*, providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
*If you require virtual sessions, please request more information.

Home-based ABA
Home-based ABA

Comprehensive Programming
A good ABA program offers individualized and comprehensive programming that views your child as a whole and includes all areas of development (language, physical, socio-emotional, and cognitive skills) in their intervention plans. It ensures that each child’s unique needs and strengths are addressed as opposed to following a protocol that may or may not fit them.
Parent Involvement
Parent involvement and close collaboration with families are essential to creating a supportive and consistent learning environment. With a focus on natural generalization, your child will confidently apply their newfound skills to real-life situations, making progress that lasts a lifetime.
